Ingredients

  • 1 cup plus 2 tsp. melted butter
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries (Or canned well drained)

Preparation

Step 1

• Grease a 10 inch tube pan with 2 T margarine. Sprinkle ½ cup sugar and set aside.
• Cream remaining 1 cup butter, gradually adding 2 cups sugar. Add eggs, beat in well. Add vanilla and mix well.
• Combine 2 cups flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture.
• Dredge blueberries in 1 cup flour. Fold bluberries into batter. Pour into pan.
• Bake at 325 for 1 hour 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.
