Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

• Crust
• 1 1/2 cup flour
• 2 T milk
• 1/2 cup oil
• 2 T sugar
• 1/2 t salt
• Filling
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 2 T light Karo syrup
• 2 T corn starch
• 1 cup water
• 2 to 3 drops of red food coloring
• 2 T strawberry jello
• 1 quart fresh strawberry (sliced)

Preparation

Step 1

Crust:
Mix together all crust ingredients and spread in a pie pan covering the bottom of the pan and up the sides. Poke holes in the bottom of the crust using a fork and bake at 400 for till brown. (10-12 min.)Let cool before adding filling.

Filling:
In a pot combine sugar,Karo syrup,salt,water and corn starch. Cook till thickened and clear. Add food coloring and strawberry jello. Let this cool then add fresh strawberries and chill.
