Ingredients

  • 2 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 cups cabbage, shredded finely
  • 1 large carrot, shredded finely
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons crushed caraway seeds
  • 1 1/4 lbs polish sausage, cooked, halved lengthwise, and cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • Black pepper and salt to taste

Place ingredients in crockpot in order listed, cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or until vegetables are tender.
