Ingredients
- pastry shell- baked and cooled
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 t lemon extract
- 1 t lemon rind
- can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 eggs separated
- 1/4 t cream of tartar
- 4 T sugar

Preparation
Step 1
1. combine lemon juice, extract, and rind.
2. gradually add milk and yolks and blend well. put in cooled pie shell.
3. add cream of tartar to egg whites and beat till nearly still, then gradually add sugar. spoon lightly on top of pie.
4. bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes.
