Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. pepper
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced very thin
- 2 small onions, chopped fine
- 2 c. shredded cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in microwave; add flour and cook one minute.
Add milk and cook until thickened.
Stir in salt and pepper.
Spoon 1/4 c. sauce into greased baking dish.
Top with 1/2 potatoes, 1/2 onion, 1/2 sauce, and 1/2 cheese.
Repeat with potatoes, onion, sauce.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes or until tender.
Can cook in microwave for a short time to cut down on baking time.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese, and bake an additional 5 minutes.
Yield: 8 serving.
