  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup basil, chiffonade
  • 2 peaches, sliced
  • 2 cups limeade
  • 2 cups lemonade
  • 1 cup tequila
  • Basil for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a small sauce pot, combine sugar, water, and basil to make the basil infused simply syrup. Heat over medium heat until sugar is fully dissolved, stirring frequently.

2. Strain syrup until smooth and clear. Cool to room temperature.

3. In a pitcher add peaches and gently muddle them until no large chunks remain.

4. Fill the pitcher with ice and add in limeade, lemonade, tequila, and 3 tablespoons basil infused simply syrup. Stir well.

4. Pour margaritas into glasses and garnish with fresh basil.
