  • 2 cups masa harina
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups very warm water
  • 1 tsp oil



Step 1

1) In a large bowl, mix all ingredients. Stir until dough stays together and does not break apart.

2) Knead until dough forms a large ball. It should be soft and not sticky. Cover and let stand for 2 mins.

3) Divide dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each one into a flat, thin circle.

4) Heat a heavy iron pan over med-high heat. Cook tortillas until both sides are golden brown.
