Frosted Lemon Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup veg shortening
• 3 eggs
• 1 1/2 tsp. Lemon extract
• 2 cups flour
• 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/8 salt
• Frosting
• 3 cups confection sugar
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 tsp. Lemon extract

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix ingredients in order given. Bake for 10 minutes. Prepare frosting. Frost cookies after they have cooled. Add sprinkles while still moist.
