Sweet Potatoes- Roasted

  • ● 1 lb. Sweet Potatoes, cut into spears
  • ● 1 sweet onion, cut into wedges
  • ● 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ● 1 clove garlic , minced
  • ● 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, if use too much, potatoes will be spicy!



Step 1

1. Place cast iron skillet in oven and preheat oven to 400℉
2. Place all ingredients in large bowl; toss together so the potatoes and onions are coated with oil and spices
3. When oven reaches temperature, dump ingredients from mixing bowl into hot cast iron skillet
4. Bake for 25 minutes , then stir and bake for 15 more minutes
