Scalloped Potatoes

- 6 large potatoes, peeled and sliced in rounds
- 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
- 5 tablespoons chopped Fresh parsley
- 1 1/2 cups of Milk
- 3/4 stick of Butter
- 6 tablespoons Flour

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. Butter bottom and sides of casserole pan
3. Layer 1/3 sliced potatoes in bottom of dish
4. Sprinkle layer with 1/3 onkions, parsley, a pinch of salt & pepper and flour & butter
5. Repeat steps 1-4 until all potatoes are layered in dish (3 layers)
6. Pour milk over potatoes, but do not fill more than half the depth of the casserole dish to prevent from bubbling over.
7. Cover and bake 1 hour. Add 15-30 minutes for thicker sliced potatoes. At one hour, remove lid and test with a fork. If the potatoes are soft, they are done.
Tip: Place cookie sheet on rack under casserole dish, as milk may bubble over.
