Ingredients
- 6 med. potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 tsp. instant chicken bullion granules
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 12oz. can evaporated milk
- crumbled bacon (opt)
- snipped fresh chives (opt)

Preparation
Step 1
in 3 1/2-4 qt. slow cooker combine potatoes, water, onion, bullion, and pepper
cover, cook on low 8-9 hrs. or high 4-4 1/2 hrs.
stir cheese and milk into mix in cooker, cover cook 1 hr. more on low or 30 min. on high
for thicker soup mash potatoes slightly
sprinkle each serving with bacon and chives
