Aunt Ada's Apple Pie

Aunt Ada would bring the most delicious pies for Christmas dinner; this is my favorite.

Ingredients

• 6 apples – peel, slice and put in microwaveable bowl
• Mix 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp tapioca; pour over apples
• Cook mixture in microwave until mushy

Preparation

Step 1

Put bottom crust in pie pan; pour in cooked apples – slabs of butter on top of apples
Put top crust; flute and slot crust
Pastry brush on milk; sprinkle sugar
Bake at 350 until brown (about 30 minutes)
