PLACE CARROTS IN POT OF SALTED WATER, BRING TO A BOIL REDUCE HEAT AND COOK 20 T0 30 MINUTES TILL CARROTS ARE TENDER, DRAIN THE CARROTS AND REDUCE TO THE LOWEST HEAT, STIR IN BUTTER, BROWN SUGAR SALT AND PEPPER MIX TO COAT, COOK 3 TO 5 MINUTES UNTIL SUGAR IS BUBBLY SERVE HOT
