- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 stick butter room temp
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup pistachio coarsely chopped
- 2/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 stick butter room temp
- NEEDS MORE SUGAR
- CAN ADD CHOC. CHIPS INSTEAD

Preparation
Step 1
preheat oven to 350 degrees
line heavy baking pan with parchment
whisk flour & baking powder to blend
beat eggs 1 at a time
add butter
add flour & beat just blended
add pistachios & cranberries
NEEDS MORE SUGAR
CAN ADD CHOC. CHIPS INSTEAD
from dough 13 x 3 log
bake till golden about 40 min or less
cut into half inch slices with serrated knife on diagonal
arrange on baking sheet
cut size down
bake till golden about 5-10 mins.
transfer to rack & cool
serves 20
