  • 12 asparagus stalks, medium, 5-7 inches long
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp. sesame seeds
  • Dash of salt
  • Ground pepper, to taste
  • Wooden skewers

Step 1

Spear 6 asparagus stalks together side by side, like a raft. Combine the sesame oil, soy sauce and garlic. Stir and brush mixture over both sides of the raft. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Grill over direct heat for 2 to 4 minutes, until brown on both sides.
