Ingredients
- 8 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
- Orange Zest, large strip
- 4 oranges, juiced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Almonds, chopped
Details
Preparation
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, juice of oranges and lemon and a strip of orange zest.
Bring to a boil.
Peel pears, leaving stems intact.
Simmer in liquid for 20 minutes or until tender. Cool. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with chopped almonds.
