Ingredients

  • 1 ) 3 carrots, thinly sliced
  • 2 ) 2 celery stalks, thinly sliced
  • 3 ) 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 ) 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 5 ) 1 (30 oz.) can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 6 ) 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth
  • 7 ) 1 (15 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 8 ) 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 9 ) 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 10 ) 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 11 ) 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 12 ) 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 13 ) cooked rice

Step 1

Cook all ingredients, except for rice, in slow cooker for 8 hrs. Serve over rice.
