Directions

Toss a pint of figs into an ovenfroof dish and roast for about 10 minutes at 350, then drizzle them with an aged balsamic vinegar. Suggestion to serve with pan fried pork chops and California Pinot Nior. Half fresh figs and slather with mascarpone and sprinkling of chopped pistachios. Or set out with a wedge of Maytag blue cheese and toasted rosemary olive bread
