  • ICING FOR CAKE:
  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 small box strawberries Jell-O
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup crushed strawberries
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 1/2 milk
  • 1 stick butter, soften
  • 1 box confectiones' sugar
  • 1/2 cup crushed strawberries
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut

Preparation

Step 1

Put cake mix and Jell-O gelatin in large bowl and mix. Combine coconut, pecans and crushed strawberries. Add eggs, oil and milk into cake mix slowly. Beat thoroughly for 4 minutes. Pour into 3 greased and floured 8-inch cake pans and bake at 325 degress 40 minutes or until center springs back when touched.

ICING: Beat margarine, powder sugar and strawberries. Add pecans, coconut and spread between layers , top and sides.
