Ingredients

  • 2

    cups canned pumpkin

  • 2

    tablespoons butter

  • 1

    teaspoon ginger

  • 1

    teaspoon cinnamon

  • 3/4

    teaspoon allspice

  • 1/2

    teaspoon vanilla

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1/2

    cup brown sugar

  • 1

    teaspoon molasses

  • 1/2

    cup sugar

  • 3

    tablespoons flour

  • 1/4

    teaspoon salt

  • 1

    cup half and half

  • 1

    (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions

In mixer, combine and mix ingredients in order given (except pie shell). Pour into 1 (9 inch) pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes and then lower to 350 degrees for another 45 minutes. Test for doneness (when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean).
