  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup 7 Up
  • 1 lb. butter
  • 2 tbsp. lemon flavoring
  • nd Step:
  • Glaze:
  • 3/4 box powdered sugar
  • Juice of 2 lemons

Preparation

Step 1

1st Step:
Melt butter. Add sugar and eggs. Beat. Add half of cake flour. Add ½ of 7 Up. Add flavoring. Add remaining flour and 7 Up and pour into greased tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

2nd Step:
Mix sugar and lemon juice. Pour over cake while hot.
