Ingredients

  • ¾ c HOH

  • ½ T butter

  • ½ t salt>>>>>>>>bring to a boil

  • ½ c couscous> stir in, remove from heat, cover, let stand 5 min.

  • 1½ T butter>> melt

  • ¾ c slivered almonds> add & stir til lightly browned.

  • ¾ c HOH

  • 1 c chopped dates

  • ½ c chopped dried apricots>>add, simmer til most of

  • the liquid is absorbed (5min). Fluff couscous, add to

  • fruit mixture, toss.

  • Serve topped w/ whipped cream.

  • 1 c dates, chopped\½ c chopped dried apricots
