- 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) chipotle chili powder
- Kosher salt
- 1 pound(s) sirloin steak, cut into thin 1-inch-long strips

Step 1
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook, covered, stirring occasionally, until tender, 6 to 8 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine the cumin, chili powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add the steak and toss to coat.
Add the steak to the skillet with the onions, increase the heat to medium-high, and cook, tossing occasionally, until the steak is just cooked through, 3 to 4 minutes. Pair these meaty tacos with our Fresh Tomato Salsa with Cheese.
