Soy Marinated Flank Steak with Pineapple-Ginger Salsa

Ingredients

  • 1/3 C soy sauce
  • 3 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 T balsamic vinegar
  • 1 T Dijon mustard
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 3-4 cloves grated garlic
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 1/2 lb flank steak
  • SALSA
  • 2 C diced pineapple
  • 1/4 C chopped cilantro
  • 1 T lime juice
  • 1 t grated fresh ginger
  • 1 t olive oil
  • 1/2 t sesame oil

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all marinade ingredients in shallow baking dish. Add flank steak & marinate at least 1 hr. or up to 8 hrs.

Meanwhile make pineapple salsa; refrigerate until ready to serve

Remove flank steak from marinade; pat dry. Lightly coat with olive oil & salt & pepper. Grill steak 10-15 min., turning frequently. Let stand 5-10 minutes on cutting board. Slice diagonally and top with pineapple salas to serve
