BUTTER STEAMED GREEN BEANS

Ingredients

  • 2 tblsp butter
  • 1/2 lb green beans, strings and stem ends removed, halved
  • 3 tblsp water
  • 1/2 tsp dill
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 2 strips orange peel

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add beans and water and cook covered, stirring occasionally, for about 7 minutes, or until tender but still crisp. Remove from heat and add dill, salt and pepper.

Arrange on platter with main dish. Garnish with orange peel.
