Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter
- 3 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups Sugar plus extra for sprinkling
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 tsp Cream of tartar
- 1 to 2 tsp Lemon Extract

Preparation
Step 1
1. Prehat oven to 325°.
2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
3. Add egg and lemon extract. Beat well.
4. Add flour, soda and cream of tartar. Mix well.
5. Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of a walnut. Flatten with a fork. Sprinkle with sugar and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
