Cherry Berry Freezer Jam

Oh so easy, and so delicious! Make your own cherry berry jam and store in the freezer for up to a year and have fresh jam on your toast or waffles.

Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups sugar
- 5 tablespoons instant powdered pectin
- 2 cups finely chopped and pitted fresh or frozen tart red cherries
- 2 cups mashed blueberries
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl, stir together sugar and pectin. Add cherries, blueberries and zest. Stir 3 minutes until the sugar and pectin are dissolved.
Ladle jam into clean, half pint freezer safe containers, leaving 1/2" head space. Seal and label. Let stand for 30 minutes. Store in freezer up to 1 year, or 3 weeks in refrigerator.
