Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 4 tsp. sugar
- 1 1-pound portion fresh or frozen pizza dough, thawed
- 1 14.5-oz. can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1/2 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese

Step 1
In a large skillet heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and sugar; stir to coat. Cook 20 minutes or until onions are browned and caramelized, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
Preheat oven to 475. Lightly grease a large baking sheet. Divide pizza dough in half. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each dough half onto a 10 x 5 rectangle. Transfer dough to prepared baking sheet, placing 2 inches apart.
Divide caramelized onions and tomatoes between dough. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until crust is golden brown and crisp. Makes 6 servings.
