Blackberry Cheese Turnovers

Ingredients
- Make a double pie crust
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Blackberries (cooked with sugar) or use jam

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
-Mix together cream cheese, icing sugar and vanilla
-Roll crust onto a floured surface
-With a sharp knife cut into 3" squares
-Place about 1/2 tsp of cream cheese and 1/2 tsp of blackberries onto the pastry
-Fold sides in and pinch dough. Using a fork go along the edges to seal the pastry
-Bake on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper for 8-10 minutes
