Ingredients

  • 3 C flour
  • 1 T baking powder
  • 1/3 t salt
  • 1 T basil
  • 1 T oregano
  • 2/3 t cayenne
  • 2/3 t garlic powder
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1/4 C frozen spinach - thawed - squeezed dry
  • 1/2 C cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 C parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 C milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 egg white

Preparation

Step 1

1. In large bowl, blend dry ingredients.
2. Cut in butter - resembles oatmeal.
3. Blend in spinach and cheeses.
4. In separate bowl - blend milk and eggs.
5. Stir into dry ingredients.
6. turn out and knead gently.
7. Roll out 1" or cut into rounds.
8. Brush with egg white and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
