  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Step 1

preheat oven to 250F
beat 4 egg yolks, add condensed milk, and lime juice, beat until thick, pour into cooled pie shell.
beat egg whites, blend in sugar and cream of tartar, beat until stiff peaks form. spoon on top, bake in oven until eggs whites are golden brown
