German Apple Streusel Kuchen

Ingredients
- Dough:
- 300 g 2 cups flour
- 200 g 1 Cup butter
- 100 g 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tbsp baking powder preferably Dr Oetker
- Topping:
- 5 big apples, cinnamon
- For the Streusel (crumbles):
- 200 g 1 cup flour, 200 g 1 cup butter, 200 g 1 cup

Preparation
Step 1
mix all ingredients for the dough until you get a smooth dough, you knead it until it has the consistency, it should not fall apart.
- wrap dough in foil and keep cool for at least 30 min
- peel apples, remove core and slice them, mix with cinnamon
- layer a baking tray or spring form with parchment paper or grease it thoroughly.
- gently press the dough into the form or tray about 1 inch thick.
- Place apples on top and for the streusel mix all ingredients and crumble them on apples.
- Bake in pre-heated oven for 20 min on 350 F (175C)
