Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 cups blueberries
- nut topping

Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients except blueberries. Using electric mixer, beat 30 seconds, scrape bowl; beat 2 minutes on medium speed, scraping frequently. Spread half of the batter in greased 2 quart glass baking dish. Spread half of blueberries on batter; sprinkle with 1/2 of nut topping. Repeat layers with remaining.
Bake in 375 oven for 45 - 50 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near centre comes out clean.
NUT TOPPING: Combine 3 T butter, 1/3 cup each packed brown sugar and flour, and 1 tsp cinnamon. Add 1/3 cup finely chopped pecans; stir well.
