Ingredients
- Filling:
- Pie Crust: (Plain Pastry)
- 1-1/2 Cupn Flour
- 1/2 Tsp. Salt
- 1/2 Cup Crisco
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. Cold Water
- 7-8 medium Golden Delicious applies
- 1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup plus 3 Tbsp. All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 Cup Butter (1 Stick)
- 1 Large Oven-Cooking Bag with nylon tie

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven 400 degrees
- Prepare pie crust as you wish, and line pie plate.
- Peel, core and thinly slice apples and mix with ¼ cup sugar, cinnamon and 3 Tbsp. flour. Fill pie shell with apple mixture. Pile mixture high in center.
- In small bowl, with hand, knead butter, remaining ½ cup sugar and ½ cup flour into a small dough.
- Pull dough into small pieces; flatten each slightly and arrange on top of apples.*
