Ingredients
- 2 cups smoked tomato sauce
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 2 sticks chopped celery
- 2 medium carrots chopped
- Pinch of cayenne pepper or to taste
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 litre of chicken stock
- 500 ml cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil

Preparation
Step 1
In soup pot heat olive oil and sauté chopped carrots,celery, and onions for a few minutes till softened. Add chopped garlic. Add tomato sauce and chicken stock and pinch of cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as desired. Turn off stove and remove pot. Add cream slowly, stirring constantly. Let simmer for for a couple of minutes till up to temperature. Just before you serve the soup stir in the tbsp of butter.
