FUDGY BROWNIES WITH RASPBERRY SAUCE

Ingredients
- 2 sticks unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 cups sugar
- 5 large eggs (beaten)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 Cups fresh or frozen thawed raspberries
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- whipped cream for serving

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Butter a 9"x12" oval baking dish.
In a medium bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, all purpose flour and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix together beaten eggs and vanilla, add to butter and sugar mixture.
Fold in the cocoa/flour mixture in two or three incorporations, mixing just until combined.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Pour batter into prepared pan.
Place a larger roasting pan in the preheated oven. Place the baking dish inside the roasting pan and pour in just enough hot water to come up the sides.
Bake for exactly 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted around the edge comes out clean but still comes out gooey in the center. Allow to cool completely.
Serve with raspberry sauce and fresh whipped cream.
For Raspberry Sauce: Blend raspberries and powdered sugar until smooth. Strain through a mesh strainer.
