  • 1 lb. baby carrots
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Cook carrots till tender in boiling water. Drain off most water leaving the bottom of pan cover with water. Set carrots aside.
Stir butter and brown sugar into the water. Simmer and stir until butter melts. Return carrots to the pot and toss to coat. Cover and let sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to mingle.
