Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef or turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon greek seasoning

Preparation

Step 1

In a large pan, heat olive oil and add meat and onions. Cook until no longer pink, add garlic and cook for additional minute.

Add the chopped cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, and seasonings. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover, and simmer for 20-30 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
