1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups carrots, grated

- 1 cup Crisco
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups carrots, grated

Preparation
Step 1
Cream Crisco and brown sugar. Add egg, 1 tbsp. cold water and carrots. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon. Add together ingredients. Put into well greased mold.
Cover and refrigerate.
Take out 2 hours ahead of time to room temp.
Bake 1 hour 350
Can double and put in bundt mold.
