Spice-Rubbed Chicken Breasts with Easy Orange Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- Juice of half an orange
- Four 6-ounce boneless skinless chicken breast halves

Step 1
Heat gas or charcoal grill to medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, whisk together the smoked paprika, cumin, light brown sugar, garlic powder, salt and freshly ground black pepper.
In a separate bowl, mix together the orange juice and barbecue sauce.
Sprinkle the rub mixture liberally over both sides of the chicken breasts. Grill the chicken breasts for 5 to 6 minutes per side, until cooked through and a thermometer reads 165 degrees F when inserted into the thickest part of the meat. Brush the chicken on both sides with the barbecue sauce during the last 2 minutes of grilling.
