Once these beans are finished we portion them to separate containers. One container is used to make refried beans.

Ingredients
- 1 16oz bag of pinto beans
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3-4 lb salt pork, chopped
- 5-6 cups of water

Preparation
Step 1
Thoroughly rinse beans. Place beans, onion, garlic, salt pork and water in slow cooker. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
