Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn meal
  • 1 cup Bisquick Pancake Mix
  • 1 can drained sweet corn
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 whole egg
  • cooking oil

Preparation

Step 1

Put about 2 inches of oil in a pot and heat on medium (enough to completely cover your fritters).

Mix cornmeal and pancake mix.

Add the corn and egg.

Slowly add milk a little bit at a time to make the consistency thick .

Make balls out of the batter and fry at 325 degrees. Cook 2 to 4 minutes, or until golden, turning once.

Drain on paper towels.

Once ready to eat, use thousand island dressing for dipping.
