Kraut Bierocks (German Cabbage Burgers!)

Ingredients
- 1 Tbs olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/3 head cabbage
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls (Jumbo if available)
- 1 can tomato sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Mince garlic. Chop cabbage & onion. Heat oil in skillet. Brown ground beef in oil breaking it up into small pieces. Add cabbage, onion & garlic. Cook over medium-low, stirring often for about 30 minutes (until cabbage softens). Spray muffin tins with cooking spray. Place crescent triangles in muffin tins, leaving crescent tips out. Spoon meat mixture into muffin tins, fold crescent tips together over the top of the meat mixture & pinch to seal. Bake at 350 20 - 25 minutes. Serve with warmed tomato sauce.
You can freeze the remaining filling for next time.
