Linguine with Clam Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C olive oil
  • Couple of cloves of minced garlic
  • salt (dime size in your hand)
  • Pepper to taste
  • handful of parsley flakes
  • 2 cans chopped clams
  • 1 lb linguine noodles

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the noodles per directions on box
In a saucepan, saute garlic in olive oil
Add some salt, pepper, parsley and the juice from the clams (do not add clams
yet or they will get tough)
Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, just before noodles are finished
When noodles are done, add clams to mixture to just heat clams through
Drain noodles and pour juice mixture over it
Toss and add some parmesan cheese, if you like.
