    Tablespoons + ½ cup flour

    Tablespoon sugar

    Tablespoon chopped candied ginger

    cups blueberries

  • 2

    Tablespoons lemon juice

  • cup brown sugar

  • ½

    cup quick-oats

  • cup soft butter

  • whipped cream or vanilla ice cream ( optional garnish )


Soften butter. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter a 6-cup shallow baking dish. Combine the 4 Tablespoons flour, sugar, and ginger. Add the blueberries and toss. Sprinkle with the lemon juice. Spread berries mixture in baking dish. Combine the brown sugar, 1/2 cup flour,oats, and soft butter. Sprinkle mixture over the berries. Bake until top is golden and edges are bubbly, about 30 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
