Bowtie Garlic Chicken


Spicy Chicken meal. It can be toned down if you do not like spicy foods. Substitute sun-dried tomatoes for jalapeno tomatoes.

  • 8 OZ Bowtie Pasta
  • 14 OZ Can Jalapeno Tomatoes
  • 5 Chicken Thighs, Stewed
  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic Salt
  • 4 Tbsp. All-Purpose Flour
  • 4 Tbsp. Olive Oil, Divided
  • 1 cup sliced Mushrooms
  • 4 Tbsp. Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Cup Chicken Broth, Divided
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced Parsley
  • 1/2 Tsp. Dried Basil
  • 1/8 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/8 Tsp. Pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/4 Grated Parmesan Cheese

Cooking time 60mins


Step 1

Cook Pasta according to package instructions and drain. In two cups of boiling water cook chicken until tender. Remove chicken and chop into small pieces and sprinkle with garlic salt. Toss with the flour. Heat half the olive oil in a large skillet or wok. Cook mushrooms and minced garlic until tender. Add remaining olive oil, chicken, can of jalapeno tomatoes, parsley, basil, salt, pepper, crushed pepper flakes, and half of chicken broth until heated through. Add bowtie pasta and remaining chicken broth and heat until all ingredients are warm. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
