Ingredients
- 1 T. butter
- 1 C. onion, chopped
- 1 can (16 oz) cream-style corn
- 1/2 C. diced red bell pepper
- 3/4 C. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 T. flour
- 2 1/2 C. chicken broth
- 1 C. frozen corn
- 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat butter in saucepan. Add onion' cook & stir 5 min. Sprinkle with flour; cook & stir 1 min.
2. Add broth; bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Add corn, pepper, & sauce; simmer, covered, 15 min.
3. Remove from heat; gradually stir in cheese until melted.
Can add 1 C. cooked rice.
