Ingredients

  • Frosting:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 20oz. can pineapple
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Beat eggs until light & fluffy. Add pineapple. Sift together flour, sugar & baking soda, add to egg mixture.se spoon to mix. Stir in pecans & spread in ungreased 9×13” Pyrex pan. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool & frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
For Frosting:
Mix together ingredients and beat with mixer until fluffy. Spread on cool cake.
