Pasta with Garlic & Parsley

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces campanelle or corkscrew pasta
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Step 1

Cook pasta using package directions; drain well. Heat olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook garlic in hot olive oil until golden, about 3 minutes. Add the parsley, salt, red pepper flakes and black pepper to the saucepan. Cook, stirring continually, for 3 minutes.
Combine pasta and garlic mixture in a large bowl and toss to mix well. Serve warm.
