GREEN BEANS WITH ALMOND PESTO

Ingredients
- 3 cups green beans, cut into 3-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 3 tbsps. chopped fresh basil
- 3 tbsps. olive oil
- 2 tbsps. grated red onion
- 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp. salt

Preparation
Step 1
Lightly steam beans until crisp-tender, 3 minutes. Drain well and place in large bowl. In blender or food processor, puree almonds, basil, oil, onion, vinegar, garlic and salt. Toss with beans. Cover and chill 20 minutes before serving.
